German Shepards are amazing dogs but they also need attentive owners. These are not lap dogs or loungers. This breed averages from 80lbs to 100lbs and needs a strong leader to engage with. If you are looking for a lazy dog that doesn’t need much attention or space this probably isn’t the breed for you.
However, if you’re looking for a faithful companion to protect your family and join your adventures, look no further!

When choosing a pup they all look alike, and have few identifying markings until 2 weeks. Eyes open at 12-14 days and ears open at 18-21 days. This can make is pretty hard to pick a puppy from a picture.
We have found that the best way to find out which dog is for you is to play with it! The more you play with our puppies the faster you will find which puppies you have a natural connection to. It’s totally natural to want specific traits in a dog but most dogs change with time and training so don’t settle. Pick the one your heart desires most!

German Shepards are Noble dogs that can have a large range of personality traits. They are very affectionate, great with kids, and usually good with other dogs.
They have a double-layered coat of medium-length hair that comes in many different patterns and colors.
They can be good around strangers with training but are usually pretty watchful and love to play. A lot of G.S. dogs need high mental stimulation or jobs.
Their life expectancy (according to AKC) is about 7-10 years but can live longer. Some people, including us, have experienced a G.S. dog live up to 15 years.
